Foaled in late February of 1999, Baske Afire is a bay son of leading all-time Arabian sire Afire Bey V (*Huckleberry Bey x Autumn Fire by *Bask). His dam, Mac Baske (Baskevich x AH Meditation by Meridian), was the 1999 Canadian National Champion English Pleasure Horse and a two-time U.S. Reserve National Champion.

Known especially for his impact in the English division, Baske Afire consistently produced horses with powerful motion, elegant necks, strong toplines, and unforgettable attitudes. His offspring earned countless national and regional titles across Country English Pleasure, English Pleasure, Park, Driving, and Halter, establishing his reputation as one of the breed’s most influential modern sires. Beyond the show ring, his get became known for their intelligence, heart, and ability to form lasting partnerships with their riders and owners.

At Strawberry Banks, the Baske Afire legacy continues to hold a special place within our breeding program. His bloodlines can be found behind many of the horses and accomplishments we are most proud of, and his influence continues to shape the style, quality, and presence we value so deeply in the Arabian horse.
